As a Career Ownership Coach™, I help people who may no longer be content with their current position in the corporate job world. I made the transition to career ownership coaching with The Entrepreneur Source after realizing that the corporate world wasn’t helping me meet my personal and professional goals. My work helps clients define their goals, needs, and expectations in a safe space for education and exploration. My goal is to give clients ample time and freedom to explore possibilities that have not been previously considered.

Work history.

With more than 20 years in the hospitality industry, my background spans from small independently owned boutique restaurants to large franchise restaurants producing over 10 million in annual revenues. Most recently I was a Director of Operations for a nation-wide casual dining chain, overseeing between 10 and 15 units. Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to develop and mentor others. These experiences enable me to help my clients explore career paths that put them in control of their destiny.

Coaching highlights.

As a former executive in the corporate world, I have had the benefit of working for some really terrible bosses. Why do I think of it as a benefit? It made me a better leader by teaching me what to avoid when managing and coaching people. I do, of course, credit several mentors in my career and in my life who provided me with a foundation of good coaching habits.

Coaching and mentoring has become my passion. The most powerful benefit of coaching for me is when my clients realize that they have been conditioned to believe that the “job path” is the only viable one. By helping my clients define their goals, needs, and expectations, I help them envision a Career 2.0 where self-sufficiency is attainable.
